Eddie cleanly retains at Cyber Sunday, but he retains at Survivor Series thanks to interference from a returning Edge. Eddie rekindles his feud with The Undertaker with matches at Cyber Sunday and Survivor Series. He is then embroiled in a feud with Kane with matches at Great American Bash, SummerSlam, A Triple Threat match at Unforgiven involving Rey Mysterio, and the end of the feud comes at No Mercy, in which Eddie wins all of those matches. He celebrates with Chris Benoit, who won the ECW Championship on the same night, backstage. Edge retains the first two matches, but Eddie becomes a four-time World Champion at Vengeance by beating Edge for the title. They have matches at Judgement Day, One Night Stand, and Vengeance: Night of Champions. Edge cashes in Money in the Bank by attacking Eddie and Taker with the briefcase and wins the World Title, kindling a feud between Edge and Eddie. Taker retains in the rematch at Backlash, and the feud ends with Undertaker retaining in a steel cage match on SmackDown. At WrestleMania 23, Undertaker defeats Eddie to become the World Heavyweight Champion. Eddie and Undertaker team up in a losing effort to John Cena and Shawn Michaels at No Way Out after Eddie ditches Taker mid match. On the February 5 episode of Raw, The Undertaker, 2007's Royal Rumble Winner, challenges Eddie for his title by hitting him with a chokeslam. At the Royal Rumble, Eddie defends the title against Mr. He wins the title at Armageddon defeating King Booker and Batista. Eddie gets back in the title picture as he defeats King Booker to get into the World Heavyweight Championship match at Armageddon. Eddie defeats Finlay on SmackDown to end their program. Eddie continues to feud with Finlay at Survivor Series by teaming with John Cena, Rob Van Dam, Bobby Lashley, and Kane as they defeat the team of Big Show, Finlay, Test, MVP and Umaga. Eddie gets one more chance at the title on SmackDown, but he loses after Finlay interferes. He fails to gain the title after being attacked by Finlay. Eddie gets another shot at the championship at No Mercy in a Fatal 4-Way match which involves Batista and Bobby Lashley. He is traded back to SmackDown, as he starts a summer feud with Booker T- oh wait, sorry - KING BOOKA! They fight for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, which sees Latino Heat win by DQ after bring attacked by Queen Sharmell. Kennedy for a few months with matches on Raw, before his only WWE Championship match at Vengeance, in which he fails to defeat Rob Van Dam in a Triple Threat match also involving Edge. Eddie Guerrero had the biggest moment of his career when he won the WWE Championship by defeating Brock Lesnar at No Way Out 2004. He was a heel for most of his career, but he was a fan favorite on SmackDown from 2003 - 2005. He had the gimmick of a crafty, resourceful wrestler that would do anything to get a victory.
